An exciting form of parish to parish partnership in the Gospel continues in the City of London. The Bank Churches Film Series will involve the parishes of St Mary le Bow, St Mary Woolnoth, St Margaret Lothbury, St Vedast-Alias-Foster, St Botolph without Bishopsgate, St Lawrence Jewry & Mercers' Chapel. The clergy of these churches have come together to develop a course, to be held in the St Lawrence Jewry, EC2. The format is simple: find a stunning and provocative movie; fragment its showing, and discuss it over a number of weeks, making it relevant to Christianity.
Concluding the series will be an informal service of Tenebrae on 30th March, 6.15pm at St Lawrence Jewry.
Held at St Lawrence Jewry, Gresham St (next to the Guildhall), each session commences at 6.15pm, with drinks from 6pm. They will last for 45 minutes, include a guided discussion and will be followed by refreshments. The course is designed as a five week commitment — all are welcome.
